Content Submission

AUGI Content Submission System

Stand out from your peers. We welcome you to submit any of your technical content for opportunities to become a published writer.

The AUGI Content System allows local chapter leaders to search for articles, whitepapers, and other technical content authored by users just like you, and publish them in their local newsletters or include them on their chapter’s website, giving full credit to the original author.   Best of all, you don’t have to be a professional writer to participate.   The AUGI editing staff will polish your work and prepare it for professional publication.

Instructions

1. Organize your content documents and images into no more than two files, utilizing .zip files if necessary.

The following types of content are accepted:

  • Articles
  • White Papers
  • Lecture Notes
  • PowerPoint presentations

File specifications:

  • Acceptable file formats include: .doc, .xls, .ppt, .rtf, .txt, .jpg, .dwf, .dwt, .dwg, .dxf, and .zip
  • Images should be submitted in .jpg format
  • Images cannot exceed 400 pixels wide
  • Make sure screen shots are clear, readable, and cropped appropriately
  • Write captions or identify images

2. Complete the AUGI Content Submission Form, and click the submit button.

Note: When submitting content, please include any accompanying images in a zipped file separate from the article file and be sure to name the zipped file appropriately.   For example, if your article file is “2D to 3D conversion”, your image file could be named “2D to 3D conversion-images”.   This will ensure that images and articles are matched correctly. AUGI’s editing staff reserves the right to edit content for length or to clarify information.

3. Once submitted, your content will be reviewed by an AUGI Editor.   You will be contacted with questions or notification that your content has been accepted for publishing.   Your content will then be made available online to the AUGI Local Chapters for their use.

If you have questions concerning submitting your content, contact our Local Chapter manager, Bill Adams at skype:Bill Adams.
